It really depends on the type of love you're asking about. Obviously there will be some overlap but i think you can categorize love as familial or romantic.

- They will be passionate about you, always eager to be with you, do things with you.
- They notice the little things in you, whether you're sad, guilty, happy, angry they will notice.
- They will always be there to help you no matter what, as an equal and partner, not dominant but neither subservient.
There's familial love:
- Where they will always be behind you to support you no matter what.
- They will be willing to teach you and lead you to success no matter how harsh the road is.
- They will get mad at you, be angry, disappointed but no matter how they feel they will always care for you and feel for you.
- They will always be honest and truthful towards you, even if what they say is hurtful.
